With this online tool, you can add random letters and symbols to words in the given text. The program runs through all the words in the text and chaotically inserts the specified letters and symbols into them. It uses only those letters that you entered in the multiline field in the options and picks them randomly. Besides single letters and symbols, you can also add pairs of letters, substrings, or groups of several characters. Each new letter or substring has to be entered on a new line forming a vertical list. In the next option, you can specify how many random letters in total to add to the words. For example, you can add 5, 10, or 40 letters. By default, the program may select the same letter from the list several times and insert multiple selections in the same position in the word. If you want the program to use each letter only once, deactivate the option "Allow Duplicate Letters", and if you want to ensure that no more than one letter gets added to the same position in a word, then deactivate the "Allow Consecutive Letters" option. Additionally, you can change the case of letters when they get inserted into words to match the original case of the word. If the option "Use Word Case" is selected, then a random letter that falls at the beginning of a capitalized word becomes uppercase, and a random letter that falls in the middle or end of a word becomes lowercase. The last three options allow you to select the part of a word where the random letters and symbols will be added. In this example, we randomly add two capital letters to the words in a text about elements of the periodic table. We specify the letter "H" in the options, which symbolizes "Hydrogen", and the letter "O", which symbolizes "Oxygen". We add these two letters randomly 4 times to the words in all possible positions between existing letters.
In this example, we load a motivational phrase, and to make it even more motivational, we randomly add extra motivational substrings to its words. In the options, we specify three substrings "Go", "Do", and "Move" and we allow these substrings to be selected several times so that they get added 5 times in total. We also restrict the insertion positions to only the beginning and end of words.
In this example, we use our program to randomly place various brackets in the text. We enter three types of brackets in the options: round brackets "(" and ")", square brackets "[" and "]", and curly brackets "{" and "}". We allow each bracket to be selected only once (repetitions are turned off) and placed in a totally unique position in the middle of a word (consecutive insertions are turned off).
In this example, we add 10 random vowels to random words in the text. We enter five vowels of the English alphabet "aeiou" in the multi-line option (one vowel per line), and tell the program to convert them to the word case (if a letter is prepended to a word and the word's first letter is a capital letter, then the prepended letter becomes capital as well).
In this example, we hide the name of the world's greatest pirate by mixing it with a lot of letters. We enter the pirate's name as the input and add thirty randomly generated letters to it. For the mixing, we use the letters from the pirate's original name and allow duplicate copies to appear. As a result, the pirate's name becomes a puzzle that's very hard to read.
In this example, we randomly add the hashtag symbol "#" to popular Instagram keywords. We load a list of 12 keywords and add a hashtag to 10 of them. To make sure only one hashtag character is added at the beginning of words, we enable the "Beginning of a Word" position option and disable the "Allow Consecutive Letters" option.
