With this online tool, you can delete certain sentences from the given text. You just need to provide a small text pattern or a couple of words that are used in the sentences, and the program will instantly find and remove all sentences from the text that match the pattern or contain the specified words. For example, if the input text is "The sky is blue. The air is crisp. The birds soar high in the sky." and you enter the word "sky" in the pattern option, then the output will be the text without the first and third sentences (the program will remove them, as they contain the pattern "sky"). If you want to remove the sentences that contain both "birds" and "sky", then you can enter their combination "birds + sky" and the program will only remove the last sentence (the first will not be removed as it doesn't contain the substring "birds"). You can enter as many text patterns as you need in the multi-line option (one per line). The format is just "pattern" (which must match entirely as a substring) or "pattern1 + pattern2 + pattern3" (multiple substrings, all of which must be present in a sentence). To cover as many matches as possible, you can turn off the case-sensitive option so that sentences with both uppercase and lowercase letters are removed via the same pattern. Additionally, if you want to output the remaining sentences as separate lines of text, then you can select the "Output One Sentence Per Line" option. Also, you can use the "Invert Matches" option to reverse the matching and keep the sentences that would have been deleted (and instead delete sentences that were not matched by the pattern). Textabulous!

In this example, we remove several sentences using a single pattern. We enter the substring "snow" into the options, and as a result, the program deletes the first and last sentences from the text. The first sentence contains the word "Snow" in uppercase but the last sentence contains the word "snowman" in lowercase (which contains the "snow" pattern). To match patterns of all cases, we turn off the "Case-sensitive Patterns" option.
This example deletes sentences from the text using two different substrings. The first substring is "The rain" and the second is "A lightning". To make them work separately, each of them is placed on a new line in the options. Additionally, the case-sensitive mode is turned on to make sure the patterns match only at the beginning of sentences.
In this example, we use the advanced pattern matching mode by entering the pattern "owl + night" in the options. This pattern deletes sentences from the text based on two keywords. The "owl + night" pattern removes those sentences that contain both the word "owl" and the word "night" but they don't necessarily need to appear next to each other. We perform a case-insensitive pattern search and output the remaining sentences as a list, one per line.
In this example, we remove sentences from the text by using the "Invert Matches" mode. Instead of deleting all sentences that match the given pattern, it deletes all other sentences that do not match the pattern. As we're using the word "Pluto" as the pattern, then all sentences that do not contain this word are removed.
