With this online tool, you can align text to the left side of a document. If the text was previously centered, right-aligned, or had other line formatting issues, then the program normalizes it and moves the beginning position of all text lines to the left margin. Additionally, you can add an extra indent before each text line to slightly offset the left margin. By default, the indent isn't active but you can specify the length and character that is used for it. By default, the indentation character is the space character but you can also use other characters, such as the hyphen "-", or hash "#". The "Length of Extra Indent" option lets you specify the number of such characters that will get added at the beginning of each line. Also, if your text contains lines without characters, you can turn off the "Indent Empty Lines" option to not add indents to these lines. Textabulous!

In this example, we left-align the lyrics of the "All Star" song by Smash Mouth, which was played in our favorite Shrek cartoon. The input lyrics have been centered but in the output, we get all text lines aligned to the left as much as possible, so that there are no spaces at the beginning of any of the lines.
In this example, we load a right-aligned list of various honey types and change its alignment to the opposite side. After the alignment is changed, honey names now appear on the left side. Additionally, we also add indentation in the form of a bullet symbol "•" at the beginning of each line.
In this example, we copied a list of yoga poses for beginners from a website but the formatting broke. Some of the lines had spaces at the beginning and the list was hard to use. To fix the problem, we aligned each line to the left of the text box and also added three tilde characters "~" on the left side as a decoration (via the extra indentation option). To make sure the tildes don't get added to empty lines, we turned off the "Indent Empty Lines" option.
