With this online tool, you can jumble letters in the words of any text. The program runs through all the words in the text and mixes up the letters of individual words. It then puts the word back in their original positions but now each word is harder to read as it's been jumbled. For example, by entering the text "giant elephant" as the input, you'll get the output "ntiag hlneatpe" or "ntiag lpaeenht" or "intag aelnthep" (or any other combination). The program can create some truly difficult word puzzles this way but you can also adjust the difficulty via options to make them easier to solve. By default, each letter is mixed independently of other letters but to make the puzzle easier, you can group the letters in each word together. For example, you might get "cr-khaord" or "dhacror-k" or "crk-rhdao" as the output. If you select the "Drop Hyphens" mode, then you might get the word "crdokahr" (without the hyphen). If you select the "Preserve Hyphens" mode, then the hyphen will lock in place and not move. A possible output in this case is "rokr-hacd". In this example, we create a puzzle of scrambled animal names to improve learning the English language. We enter seven animals separated by commas and scramble the letters in these words. We do not freeze the letter positions and allow the letters to move freely to any position. At the same time, we preserve the capitalization of the first letter to provide a small hint for guessing the word.
In this example, we jumble letters in the famous words of Thomas Jefferson. To make sure all letters have the same case, we turn the lowercase mode on, and to make it a little bit easier to guess the quote, we decrease the puzzle's difficulty by fixing in place the first letter of each word. Now only true connoisseurs of philosophy will be able to read this quote.
In this example, we create a quest for all football fans. We mix up the letters of famous football player names and make the fans guess the names of the players. To make the puzzle simpler, we join the letters in pairs, and move them as groups of two letters. We also turn all the letters to uppercase, so that the names couldn't be guessed by their capital letters.
