With this tool, you can add a special mark symbol at the end of each text line and paragraph. The program identifies individual line breaks in the text and appends a decorative symbol right before them. As line breaks themselves do not have a visible character (they simply create text line transitions), this tool helps you visualize their position via specially designated symbols. The three most common symbols for an end of a line are "↵", "⏎", and "↲". In Microsoft Word, the special symbol "¶" is used to denote a paragraph. This example adds a neat paragraph symbol at the end of each paragraph of text. It uses the special symbol "¶", which was popularized by Microsoft Word documents to indicate the end of a paragraph. This symbol is appended only to full paragraphs (including the last paragraph) but not to the empty text lines between the paragraphs.
In this example, we use the fancy line break symbol "⏎" and append it at the end of each line in a list of famous artists. Since the list is uneven, containing empty lines and lines with whitespace characters, we use the line trimming option to eliminate these unnecessary spaces. Additionally, we use the option to squash repeated line breaks and remove blank lines.
In this example, we use a custom line break symbol to embellish a poem about someone's home (which is a forest). We switch to the custom decoration mode in the options and specify the neat leaf emoji "🌿". Additionally, we activate the option to add decoration to the concluding line of the poem.
