With this tool, you can convert all spaces into commas in the given text. This conversion separates each word in the text, improving clarity, and makes the text importable in data analysis software and usable directly in programming languages as arrays. You can also use this tool to create comma-delimited data for importing into a spreadsheet or database table. By default, the program replaces the standard (found on a regular keyboard) comma character, but you can type any other comma-like character in the options. If several spaces appear consecutively in the text in one place, then by default, the program replaces this group of spaces with a single comma character. However, in the options, you can select a mode to convert such a group of spaces into a corresponding group of commas. For example, if there are four consecutive spaces, you can convert them into four consecutive commas. By default, in places in the text where there is already a comma, the neighboring space is not replaced with a second comma. However, in the options, you can disable the "Don't Duplicate Commas" option, and in this case, a second comma will appear where there is already a comma. Several additional options let you trim input lines from unnecessary spaces at the beginning and end before the conversion process, as well as wrap parts of the text in double quotes so that it was very convenient to create arrays (for use in programming). Textabulous!

In this example, we convert a simple sentence into a comma-separated sentence. We replace spaces between words with commas and add an extra space after each comma. Additionally, we activate the "Don't Duplicate Commas" option to ensure that the word "leaves", which already has a comma, doesn't get another comma appended after it.
In this example, we convert spaces in a list of breakfast foods to commas. To do this, we use a fullwidth comma ",", which is wider than a regular comma and doesn't require an additional space after it. We also convert all groups of repeated spaces into a single comma. Additionally, we use the line trimming option to remove spaces from the beginning and end of the list.
In this example, we load unprocessed alphanumerical data that we quickly typed in Notepad into the input of this tool. The data is separated by spaces, but we need quoted comma-separated values (CSV) for easier use in programming. To do it, we activate the "Quote Elements" option and get quotes added around each value to ensure that they are interpreted as strings.
You can pass input to this tool via ?input query argument and it will automatically compute output. Here's how to type it in your browser's address bar. Click to try!
