With this online tool, you can duplicate words in any text. You can create two, three, or more copies of each word (or selected words) in the text. The number of word copies can be specified in the options and when the words are copied, the new copies are placed to the right of the original word. The program duplicates only full words and leaves the punctuation marks and other special symbols as they are. The only exception is the apostrophe and the hyphen when they are part of the word (such as "o'clock" or "warm-up"). The utility offers two different word duplication modes. The first one is called "Duplicate All Words" and it creates copies of all the words in the text. This mode also offers another special field where you can enter one or more words that you don't want to duplicate (enter one word per line). For example, if you enter the phrase "All is well" into the input, and select this mode, you'll get the text "All All is well well" as the output. If you add the word "well" in the ignore option, you'll get the text "All All is is well". The other duplication mode is called "Duplicate Certain Words" and it creates copies only of the words you specify in the multiline option (enter one word per line). For example, if you enter the same text "All is well" into the input, and specify the word "well" to be duplicated, then you'll get the text "All is well well" as the output. The last option of the tool allows you to change the letter case of duplicated words. If the "Preserve Word Case" option is selected, then each word copy will have the same case as the original word. If this option is disabled, then each repeated word will be written in lowercase. Textabulous!

In this example, we double each word in a short motivational phrase. We select the "Duplicate All Wods" mode and enter the number "2" in the number of repetitions option.
In this example, we load a quote by Thich Nhat Hanh as the input and multiply each word by two, except for the three words "Thich", "Nhat", and "Hanh" that are the name and surname of the quote's author.
In this example, we apply the word duplication algorithm to Lady Gaga's popular song "Bloody Mary". We switch to the "Duplicate Certain Words" mode and specify three words to be duplicated thrice: "dance", "hands", "head".
You can pass input to this tool via ?input query argument and it will automatically compute output. Here's how to type it in your browser's address bar. Click to try!
