With this online tool, you can replace certain characters and symbols in the given text with multiple copies. For example, you can turn the word "bear" into the word "bbeeaarr" (all characters are doubled) or "bbbeeeaaarrr" (all characters are tripled). You can specify the exact character copy count you need, and the program will multiply and replicate the characters. By default, the program uses the "Duplicate All Letters" mode, which creates copies of all letters in the given text. In this mode, you can also make exceptions for one or more letters by entering them in the "Don't Duplicate These Letters" option. For example, if you ignore the letters "e" and "a" in the word "bear", then the repeated word will be "bbearr". In this example, we triple all letters in the name of an Internet cat meme. To do this, we turn on the "Duplicate All Letters" mode and enter "3" for the number of copies in the options. We also activate the "Preserve Letter Case" mode which creates copies of the letters "B" and "C" in uppercase.
In this example, we load a proverb into the input area and multiply the characters by two, except for those characters that are found in the word "Rome". That is, the letters "R" (and "r"), "o", "m", "e" are left in their original count.
This example reinforces a spell from Harry Potter by quadrupling the number of vowels in the magic phrase. To do this, it uses the "Duplicate Certain Letters" mode, specifies all vowels "aeou" in the option, and sets a four-fold repetition.
In this example, we double up all vowels in the name of the only daughter of the Addams Family. There are five vowels in English, which are "aeiou" and we enter these characters in the options. Additionally, we disable the "Preserve Letter Case" option so that the letter "A" is duplicated as "a".
This example duplicates the consonants in a one-liner joke about atoms. The consonant letters are all letters of the alphabet except the letters "aeiou" so we enter the alphabet without these letters "bcdfghjklmnpqrstvwxyz" in the options.
This example demonstrates that you can also repeat certain digits and symbols, which are not necessarily characters. Here, we repeat the digits 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, the double quote symbol, and the full stop symbol.
