With this online tool, you can make ordinary text look like it passed through a noisy display, damaged terminal, or unstable video feed. The program keeps the original letters in place but surrounds them with small Unicode distortion symbols (such as ◌͂, ◌̸, ◌̬), so the message still contains the same words while its visual shape becomes jittery and corrupted. For example, the word "error" can turn into something like "ḛr͒r̴o͔r̅" or even "e̷̩ͨr̸̪͆᷾̾ṙ̴̛̭͔̲̃ǒ̵͚̜̱︣ͪŕ̸͔" depending on the intensity. The "Glitch Intensity" options define how many distortion symbols are applied to each character. You can specify a lower and upper limit, and the exact number is randomly generated within this range. For example, a range of 1-2 creates a light glitch effect, while a range of 5-10 produces a heavily corrupted and irregular result with strong randomness. In this example, we turn a clean system status screen into a broken transmission. We add glitch marks above and below the letters, use a random range from one to two marks per character, and leave spaces and newlines untouched, so the report structure remains visible.
In this example, we create a stylized glitch effect for a music event poster. We use a fixed intensity value (3) so each character gets the same amount of distortion marks.
